Will we ever be able to live forever?

Living forever is a fascinating concept and has been a source of great inspiration for some of the greatest minds of all time; however, the hard, scientific reality is that no, we will not be able to live forever.

While almost all life on Earth is in a constant state of decay, and technology will likely continue to develop, humans are still a finite species and as such, have an expiration date.
