Who was the founding Titan before Eren?

The Founding Titan before Eren was Freidrich. He was the head of the royal Fritz family and the dark-skinned inheritor of the Founding Titan. Freidrich was the first person to bestow the power of the Founding Titan upon himself.

He bestowed the Founding Titan’s powers upon himself during the Founding Titan War and used it to bind himself to the walls that had become the symbol of Paradis Island. He then established the bondage between the Subjects of Ymir and the nation of Paradis Island.

Freidrich was known to be a kind ruler. He devoted himself to his people and was wise and just. He was beloved by his people and was often praised for his generous rule. He was also a formidable warrior and an accomplished strategist.

During the War of Founding, he was able to use his strategic abilities to outwit the enemies of Paradis Island and neutralize their attacks with minimal causalities.

Freidrich was the original possessor of the Founding Titan powers until his death at the hands of Eren Kruger. The source of his powers were then passed on to the current inheritor, Eren Yeager, and continues to be used by him to protect Paradis Island from its would-be aggressors.

Who originally had the founding Titan?

The Founding Titan is the first and most powerful of the Nine Titans, a group of colossal sentient beings that can take the form of humans. The Founding Titan was initially possessed by Ymir Fritz, the progenitor of the nation of Eldia.

Ymir Fritz was a subject of the Eldian Empire, an ancient kingdom founded by the subjects of Ymir who eventually spread into what is now the modern-day nation of Marley. In the late 1400s, Ymir Fritz acquired a power known as the “Coordinate,” granting her absolute control over the nine Titans and allowing her to protect Eldia from the forces threatening it.

After Ymir Fritz died, she split her Titan power into multiple Successors, including her daughter Historia Reiss, to protect her kingdom. Historia eventually became known as the “true royal” and the rightful owner of the Founding Titan.

However, Historia eventually ceded the Founding Titan power to Zeke Yeager in the year 845. Following Zeke’s abduction and departure to Paradis Island, the Founding Titan resided in the hands of Eren Yeager before being inherited by his half-sister, Faye Yeager.

Following the events of the Paradis Island Operation, the Founding Titan power was split between Eren Yeager and Zeke Yeager.

What turned Ymir into a Titan?

The origin story of Ymir, the progenitor of Titans from the Attack on Titan franchise, dates back to the dawn of human civilization in the world of the series. According to the story, Ymir gained the power of the Titans after making a contract with the ‘Devil of All Earth’.

The ‘Devil’, which was actually an Eldian God of Death, made the contract in order for Ymir to gain the power to free her race from slavery.

In exchange for this power, Ymir was instructed to eat the ‘Devil’s fruit’, giving her the power of the Titans. By doing this, Ymir was able to transform her body into that of a Titan and become the first of them.

The form she chose, the Founding Titan, set the standard for all other Titans that followed, inheriting special abilities of its own.

Ymir eventually realized the great power she had in her hands, and as more and more of her descendants transformed into Titans, she grew more and more powerful. After a thousand years ruling as the Founding Titan, Ymir split her soul into nine parts; these nine souls were later called the Nine Titans and transferred from Titan to Titan throughout the ages.

What is curse of Ymir?

The “Curse of Ymir” is a term used to refer to the oppressive and dangerous conditions of life outside of the Walls in Attack on Titan. It refers to the origin story of humanity in the Attack on Titan universe, in which Ymir Fritz, a titan, was sacrificed to create the Walls and the resources within, such as the mineral ores, crops, and livestock, that protect humanity from the threat of the titans.

The cost of this protection is that the survivors on the outside of the Walls are cut off from the benefits of the resources and technology within and forced to brave the dangers of the wild, including the titans.

The Curse of Ymir means that, beyond the scope and shelter of the Walls, life is an enduring struggle for survival. Basic needs such as food and shelter are scarce and people are left as vulnerable prey for rampaging titans.

The privileged few within the Walls, however, are safe and are provided a much better quality of life than those on the outside. In a way, those outside the walls have been cursed, having to shoulder the burden of their predecessors’ sacrifice.

Why did Ymir choose Eren?

Ymir chose Eren due to his strong leadership abilities and his willpower to fight against the Titans. After accepting Ymir’s offer, Eren gains the power of the Founding Titan. He is able to use this power to influence the Titans and give orders to the rest of the Survey Corps.

He also has the drive and motivation to make a lasting guide for humanity and fight against any adversary. Ymir was impressed with Eren’s dedication and saw he could be a powerful ally. With his leadership, Eren had the potential to help Ymir achieve her goals and protect humanity from the attacks of the Titans.

What kind of Titan is Eren?

Eren Jaeger is a member of the Survey Corps and the main protagonist from the manga/anime series Attack on Titan. He is a “special type” of titan known as a Founding Titan. This special type of Titan is the inheritor of the power of the First King, Ymir Fritz.

Eren can transform into an incredibly powerful 15-meter-tall titan and use this form to fight the other titans which invade the walls of the city in which they live. He also has the ability to use the physical strength of a Titan to lift heavy objects and break down walls.

As a Founding Titan, his powers allow him to control other Titans and mold them as he sees fit. His most used ability is to turn regular humans into controlled Titans, often called the “The Coordinate”.

Eren has also gained the ability to possess other Titans and increase their power and uses this to great effect when battling the other titans. He is the only human known to have this ability and his power is unrivaled.

Why is Eren’s final form a skeleton?

The final form of Eren’s transformation is a skeleton because it is a reflection of his status as a titan shifter. As a titan shifter, Eren has a unique power that allows him to transform into a titan, a giant humanoid creature with incredible strength and resilience.

However, what makes Eren special is that his titan form is different than other titan forms in both appearance and power.

When Eren transforms into his titan form, he takes the form of a giant skeletal creature with great strength and power. This form is known as the “Founding Titan,” which Eren inherited from his father.

This form is incredibly powerful and allows Eren to control other titans as well as perform impossible feats such as healing wounds and restoring destroyed buildings.

In his final form, Eren’s skeleton form symbolizes how he has been able to control and manipulate his titan abilities over the years. His skeletal form also reflects his dedication and perseverance, as he has been able to transform himself and overcome many obstacles throughout the series.

Ultimately, Eren’s skeleton form serves as a reminder of the great power within him and the courage he has shown in facing his enemies, no matter the odds.
