What questions do you have about the project answer?

How do you answer tell me about a project?

When I think about a project I’ve worked on that I’m proud of, my first thought is the Sustainability Impact Project I did for my university in my final year. The purpose of the project was to work with our local businesses and encourage them to adopt sustainable practices that would reduce their environmental impact.

I was part of a team of five who worked together to identify potential businesses, contact them, create a survey to collect data, analyze the results, and present our findings through a written report and a presentation to the City Council.

Through our research, we were able to identify potential areas of improvement, such as new energy efficient lighting, solar panel installation, or recycling initiatives. We also recommended additional resources our local businesses could explore, such as grants funding and other incentives.

We were thrilled to have had such a positive impact on our community, with several businesses deciding to implement some of the practices that we suggested. We presented our work to the City Council and had a great discussion about further projects that we could do together in the future.

I was proud to have been part of such an innovative project, and I gained a lot of knowledge about sustainability initiatives during the process.

How to answer describe your recent experience with similar projects?

My most recent experience with similar projects was for a customer service department of a large restaurant chain. The project involved developing a comprehensive customer service training program for all employees of the chain.

The goal of the project was to improve customer satisfaction and reduce customer complaints.

My team and I began by conducting an audit of the existing customer service training program, and identified areas for improvement. We then created an actionable plan to address these issues, and sought out and implemented best practices from the industry.

We developed a curriculum that focused on continuously developing customer service skills such as active listening, communication, problem solving and conflict resolution. We also included interactive activities and supplemental materials to engage the employees.

To ensure project success, my team and I tracked the progress of the training program through customer satisfaction surveys and employee feedback surveys. We identified successful areas, as well as areas for improvement, and used our findings to further refine the program.

By the end of the project our customer service training program had improved customer satisfaction by 15%. Our program was then implemented at the national level, and was highly successful.

How do you answer describe an important project you’ve worked on?

I recently worked on a project for a health center which aimed to increase access to health services for vulnerable populations. This was an incredibly important project for me, as health access is a topic close to my heart and I wanted to contribute to making a tangible difference for these populations.

The project involved analyzing the existing health services and interviewing people who had access and those who didn’t. Through this our team was able to gain an in depth understanding of existing gaps and needs.

With this information, we developed a plan to increase access to healthcare for vulnerable populations. The plan included both short-term and long-term approaches to address the issue. We also conducted extensive research to find out which approaches had the best success rate and put together a complete report of our findings.

In the end, our team was able to present a comprehensive plan to the health center which was approved and is now being implemented. Seeing the direct impact of the project was incredibly rewarding and inspired me to stay focused on making a positive difference in the world.

How do you answer describe a recent experience which presented you with a challenge and involved doing something differently or finding a new approach?

Recently, I was involved in a challenging task that required me to do something differently or find a new approach. It involved designing a new office workflow process for a small business.

The challenge was to make the process as efficient and user-friendly as possible while adhering to standard office regulations. To achieve this, I had to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions.

I spent many hours researching and reading up on the latest office workflow trends and best practices.

I then created a workflow structure diagram and tested it out on internal staff. This allowed me to get feedback and make adjustments as needed.

Once the process was finalized and approved, I had to train the staff on it, make sure their systems were updated and properly equipped for it, and evaluate its effectiveness.

Overall, the experience was difficult, but also immensely rewarding, as I was able to design an efficient process for the business that received positive feedback from them.

Can you give an example of when you have worked with others to complete a project or task?
