At this time, Luby’s locations in San Antonio that are closing include the following:

These closures are part of a larger campaign of Luby’s to shutter 17 of its Texas locations and Nevada restaurant. The company is also pursuing a sale of its remaining restaurants, real estate and other assets.

The moves are being made to provide additional resources to the company to focus on managing its remaining restaurants and to pay down near-term debt obligations.

It is not yet clear what will happen to the San Antonio locations that are closing. In some cases employees may transition to other Luby’s stores, or the locations may be sold to another restauranteur.
