How do I add a Chime to Zelle?

Adding a Chime account to Zelle is an easy and secure way to send money directly from your bank account. To get started, the first step is to enroll your Chime account in Zelle.

Firstly, you need to create a Zelle profile through the Zelle app or your bank’s mobile banking app. Follow the instructions within the app when creating your profile. Enter your personal information like your name, date of birth and address.

You can also create a recipient profile for people you plan to send money to.

Once you’ve configured your account, add your Chime account to the Zelle network. To do this, navigate to the “Settings” section. You will find your bank’s information listed under the “My Bank Accounts” tab.

Select the “Add a Bank Account” option, then choose “Chime” from the list of banks.

You will then be prompted to enter your Chime online banking credentials. Then click “Next” and Chime will be added to your list of bank accounts in the Zelle app.

Verify the account by confirming the two small deposits that Chime will make into your Chime account. Once you’ve confirmed the deposits, your Chime account will be linked to Zelle. You may also need to provide additional documentation to prove your identity or address.

You can now send and receive money from your Chime account through Zelle. You’re all set to start using Zelle with your Chime account!
