Who is our Lord and Saviour?

Our Lord and Saviour is Jesus Christ. He is the only begotten Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, in fulfillment of the prophecy found in the Old Testament (Isaiah 7:14). He is the divine, perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind and the one who offers us everlasting life through His death, burial and resurrection.

Jesus proclaims the truth about God and His perfect will for us. He is our moral and spiritual example, offer us the knowledge and grace to live a life pleasing to God. He is the King of kings, the Lord of lords, our loving God and Redeemer, who willingly gave Himself up for us.

Jesus is our Lord and Saviour and He desires a deep relationship with each of us. He gives us strength, joy, and hope. Through faith in Him, we can find peace and assurance in all of life’s struggles.

Jesus is our Lord and Saviour – now and forevermore.

Is Jesus my savior?

Yes, Jesus is indeed my savior. Knowing that Jesus is my savior provides me with an assurance and security that is second to none. His saving grace is an unending source of love and support that is unparalleled in my life.

As a believer in Jesus, I have a personal relationship with God that was made possible only through Jesus’ sacrifice. His eternal atonement is something I will continuously rely upon to get me through difficult times.

By believing in Jesus, I can have complete assurance that I am loved by God and will be saved. I can rest assured in the promise that when I pray to God and place my trust in Him, He will answer. I can rely on Jesus to carry me through hard moments and always know that there is hope for tomorrow.

Jesus is both my savior and my best friend and that is something that is truly unique and special.

Who is Jesus to our lives?

Jesus is so much more than a historical figure or a religious leader. He is the Son of God who loves us and desires to have a relationship with us. He is our Savior and is present in our lives each day if we let Him be.

Jesus is the source of hope and peace in our lives, the source of true love that endures through all the changes and challenges we face each day. He is the ultimate example of how to live – of how to love and forgive, of how to make a difference in the world around us.

He provides guidance and encouragement in all we do, giving us strength to persevere and courage to try new things. He is the one who offers abundant life, hope, and joy. He is everything we need in this life, and he continually works in our lives to bless us and draw us closer to Him.

Do we pray to God or Jesus?

Who is Jesus and what was his real name?

Jesus was an important spiritual teacher who lived in the first century AD. He is revered by followers of Christianity as the son of God and to many he is known as the Messiah or the “Savior”. Jesus is believed to have lived somewhere around the year 4 BC – 30 AD in the parts of Ancient Israel that are now part of modern-day Palestine.

His name was Yeshua Bar Yosef, translated from Hebrew to English as Jesus, son of Joseph. He was born to a Jewish family in Nazareth, which is located in present-day northern Israel.

Jesus has been an important figure in Judeo-Christian tradition throughout the centuries. He is a central figure of faith for both Christians and Jews, and Christians believe that he is the embodiment of love, mercy and peace.

Jesus taught that God is loving and compassionate, and that people should do good works and help those in need. Jesus was also an important teacher and miracle worker. There are numerous stories of him performing healings, curing the sick, calming storms, walking on water and raising the dead.

Is it OK to pray directly to Jesus?

We read in the Gospel of Matthew, when Jesus is teaching the disciples how to pray, he instructs them to address God as “Our Father”. In other verses, Jesus has been praised in prayer both publicly and privately.

In John 14:14, Jesus responds to Thomas’s statement, saying “If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it”. This highlights the importance of being able to directly address Jesus in prayer, as He is present with us and will hear our requests.

Ultimately, each person will develop their own unique habits when it comes to prayer and as long as it conforms to the will of God, there is no wrong way to prayer.

Can I pray in my head?

Yes, you absolutely can pray with your thoughts silently inside your head. This can be a very powerful and meaningful way to pray since you can go even more deeply into your own thoughts and feelings when your prayer is done solely in your mind.

It’s a particularly useful method if you’re in a public space that isn’t necessarily conducive to public prayer. Some people find it difficult to focus on the words or thoughts they’re trying to express when they pray out loud, which is another reason why mental prayer is a great option.

Who is the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is one of the three divine persons of the Holy Trinity- Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. In Christian belief, the Holy Spirit is the breath of God that was sent down to Earth and imparted to man at the creation of Adam and Eve.

This breath of God is seen as an ever-present force, guiding and comforting humanity in its everyday life. The Spirit is manifested in many ways: as a dove to announce the birth of Jesus at his baptism; as Fire on Pentecost when the Apostles were filled with His power and spoke in other languages; and as tongues of flames on the heads of the disciples.

As it acts as God’s presence in the world, the Holy Spirit brings forth spiritual gifts, such as charity and understanding, as well as special spiritual powers when needed. It is also seen as a comforter, a teacher, a guider, and a counselor.

The Holy Spirit is ultimately a symbol of God’s great love for humanity – a reminder to follow the teachings of Jesus and witness to its truth.

Who is the Lord of your life?

The Lord of my life is God. He created me, sustains me, and loves me. He has given me His Word and His Spirit to guide me in living out His will for me. God is my loving Father who has promised to never leave me or forsake me.

I always want to choose to live in obedience to the Lord, and make decisions and choices that honor Him. I know that He is always with me, no matter what life brings my way. His presence and His grace are an anchor in my life; I am eternally grateful for His goodness, mercy, and love.

How do you answer who is Jesus to you?

Jesus is my Lord and Savior. He has been with me through every trial and every joy in my life. He is my source of hope and strength in whatever situation I find myself in. He is my rock and shelter, comforting me when I am frightened, giving me courage when I am weak, and pouring out His love and blessings over me.

He is the one who sustains me, even in the darkest hour, and provides the light of life that guides my steps. I am eternally grateful for His mercy and grace. I cannot think of anyone else who has done more for me.

He is the ultimate friend and companion, the one who will never leave me nor forsake me. Jesus is the source of my joy, my peace, and my satisfaction in life, and I owe Him everything.

Have you accepted Jesus as your personal savior?

No, I have not accepted Jesus as my personal savior. As a Christian, I believe that Jesus is the son of God, who died for the sins of mankind. I have a strong faith in God and His Word, and I attend church regularly.

However, I struggle with the concept of accepting Jesus as my personal savior and acknowledging Him as the Lord of my life. I understand the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus, and I am still on the journey of exploring and deepening my faith.

I know that accepting Jesus as my personal savior requires me to surrender my life to Him, entrust Him with all of my decisions and actions, and look to Him for guidance and direction. As I seek to grow in my faith and understanding, I for going to continue to strive for this personal relationship with Jesus.

What does it mean for Jesus to be my Savior?
